Indeed, though that is in the context of labour's capitulation to right wing bigotry.

And in the absence of sufficient and vocal opposition to it.

The one bright light I see here is the clarity of messaging coming from the Greens at the moment.

That, I think, is the way to change this.

I take your point, but I am sure I'm not alone in thinking that joining the Euro and Schengen would be great, we should have done that anyway, long ago, when we had the chance!

Are Labour really going to try and tie current economic damage (and hence the need for further tax rises) to Farage and to Brexit, whilst at the same time insisting that persevering with Brexit is the right thing to do?

That feels like gaslighting of the very highest order.

If brexit was a disastrous mistake, it must be reversed. To deny that implies that all the costs are somehow justified, so Farage et al were right....

It's a nonsense. And yet another reason why Starmer must go.
