When I'm just browsing comics, the thing that pops will either be an art style unique to the artist, or a strong synopsis. If I happen to find both I know I've someone's true passion project in front of me, and from there the first chapter will usually give a good idea of how strong it is

Enough people said they wanted to see the final slide deck, so I took the time to put it on my non-teacher github so I could share it. I didn't end up getting in trouble. I ended up being encouraged by a colleague to share it with my dept chair, and he liked it

Thank you Sefra! It was a lot of fun to make even as a short little one-week thing!

rip to the characters that have been designed for years but probably won't be seen by other people for more years
Not trying to be gatekeepy either; I can point to my work before and after this shift. 2+ years to make a ~100 page comic as a teen to putting out hundreds of pages/year now.

Putting it as 'acceptance' is very apt. It's up to you, and if that lights a certain fire for you, you'll never be the same.
I haven't heard it expressed like this before but I'd certainly agree that there is a certain mindset for comics specifically that, once unlocked, totally changes the game in terms of output. -And it truly is something you have to accept/unlock on a personal level, no easy tips/tricks to get there.
These actions are textbook groundwork to expand this payment denial to LGBT/queer content in the future.

There are lots of reasons to take steps against this but that's a pretty solid one to start with.

It's absurd and dystopian that payment processors get to decide what we can and can't see on the internet.

That companies like Visa and Mastercard can use their enormous size to bully companies into taking stuff offline - based on the reactionary politics of a small group.
More Mae stuff, can't wait to get to her backstory in the comic (very soon, this year)
Thank you nights!! She has to carry this like 4000-page-when-done comic on her back so I am glad!!!
Will be taking a month off on Heart of Mana after the current arc (for the first time in 3.5 years!) to build back buffer and recharge a bit.

I'll be spending a bit of time on Artfight this year as well, getting to draw without thinking about comic panels etc is always nice. Should be a nice break
i am not immune to oddities...
Was still using deviantart's stash features to save online backups of comic stuff. A few months back they integrated stash into eclipse, bloating screen space + removing the ability to organize folders.

Tried making a new one today and now I need to pay to create a subfolder, this site is so cooked
I knew you had good taste
