at the end of the day, if you want more service, then urge your local govt to actually pay for it. uta just doesn't magically have more money we're hiding away because you suddenly have more people moving to your city. bffr

this is well explained by the fact that title vi blocked a proposed 850 realignment on North County Blvd where Lindon and PG wanted to build denser housing and office parks. theres far more at play in route design beyond "more people are moving here"

This claim also lacks the context that the fastest growing parts of Utah county pose title vi issues. new build cities tend to have greater wealth inequality because the avg new build home in Utah is exorbitantly expensive.

Utah county likes to cry about how neglected they are but refuse to back it up with funding. they look to Salt Lake City and throw a fit, but SLC contributes a large amount of funds IN ADDITION to the base tax rates for their level of service. it's not a fair comparison.

the first is the fact that Utah county is the most resistant county to increasing their sales tax percentage that they contribute to the agency. Utah county has the second LOWEST contribution (only behind box elder county, which is the least populated county part of the authority)
