for twitter: the confluence of 1) buying a checkmark and 2) boosting checkmark replies made the product significantly worse. the top replies went from being something you specifically looked for to being complete trash overnight. many downstream effects flow from there
Someone please explain this to me like I’m a baby; why is Bluesky ‘better’ than Twitter (as an app itself, not any other factor)? For me, this is EXACTLY the same as Twitter while only using the ‘following’ tab, which everyone should be doing anyway. They both seem just as miserable to me lol
