The BLS does two surveys monthly (household and establishment, sample data) and does a census of employers quarterly (the QCEW) that is reconciled with state data. The QCEW has been showing much lower employment than the other surveys. Powell looks at the good data.

Trump is saber rattling about Venezuela because that will cause instability in oil markets which will lead to higher prices for oil which will make oil companies more profitable. (Side note: OPEC had been increasing production which was bringing prices down. Trump had to stop that.) 1/2
Sadly, nothing said by Trump or Bondi or any of his regime can be believed without substantial, irrefutable, evidentiary proof. Theyve proven themselves to be massive liars.

I said this earlier, and I’ll say it again: This is step one, to deny citizenship to people born here; Step two is to remove citizenship retroactively.
Birthright citizenship exists because the 1857 Dred Scott decision denied the Declaration. Undoing it now would repeat the very sin the 14th Amendment was built to crush.
i think to understand the meaning of the birthright citizenship clause to the framers of the 14th amendment, you have to understand significance of dred scott to the civil war republican party. dred scott wasn't just a bad ruling, it was understood as a rejection of the declaration itself.
