Bad memories of a party when I was 18 have put me off Southern Comfort for life
I love jägermeister neat- tastes like medicine and seems to work. When I was out clubbing (+15 years ago mostly) if I felt a bit rough I would get myself a shot of jager or blackcurrant aftershock (tastes like cough syrup) and then reliably feel better.
Came to lodge the same complaint

🦇 Keep those bat-themed pumpkins coming!!!! 😍 We LOVE it!
Well, that's our #pumpkin sorted! I adapted a long-eared #bat illustration that I did for the Mammal Society magazine. Have you carved a wild pumpkin? 🦇🎃

Kerivoula picta, the painted bat, looks like a figment of Halloween's imagination, but is real. Very sadly they're endangered, but the fact they exist is a pretty magical thing to think about today: www.batcon.org/bat/kerivoul...

#31DaysOfGraves Day 30 - Colour

The Clutterbuck family is buried in Toowong Cemetery, Brisbane, Australia - Portion 7A, Section 116, Grave 30.

Yellow lichen has made their headstone a standout in the cemetery.
So many Vinted parcels!!
I also have 2 charity shops near me which are amazing. One only sells baby and children's stuff and the other is a superstore and has a kids section as big as TK Maxx! I came home with a whole bag of stuff for a tenner twice! Have been trying not to get too much in each size
Thank you! I've found so many really cool things 2nd hand including halloween outfits in every size for baby's first year because it's a lifestyle not a day in this house!
I've definitely been conscious of the environmental impact of clothing - its good to use the clothes which already exist!
Oh tell a lie - I also brought 2 pairs of pjs for the hospital. But they are so comfy I'll probably keep wearing them a long time even though they will be too big 😂
Yes I can't see much point in buying new things when they grow so fast. I've managed not to buy anything new for maternity yet either except tights/leggings and bras- got my jeans from Vinted and a charity shop plus a few 2nd hand dresses and skirts a couple of sizes up. A friend lent me a raincoat.
They are so cute!!
Basically everything is my second hand finds or hand me downs but my cousin has impeccable taste - by which I mean the percentage of dinosaur themed clothes increased, and all the colours are somehow cohesive. She also included 2 Christmas bibs so that solves a wardrobe gap!
The nursery looks like a nursery and the tiny wardrobe has tiny clothes hanging in it.
Also baby vests fold really nicely konmari style and look so cute in the little drawer.
I'm nearly finished washing all the Newborn sized stuff- then an entire load of muslins to do. Nesting is intensifying!

Should we just give cash to homeless people? I wrote about what the evidence shows--and a London-based charity called Greater Change that has a simple, innovative way of making a difference:
Should we just give cash to the homeless?
A new charity is tackling homelessness with a simple approach. Does it work?

I might have to start doing this.
I have also had an easy pregnancy- so far- and have largely managed to avoid taking paracetamol- because I mostly didn't think it would help with the sensory experience TBH. I can feel my ribs spreading right now- again- it's not exactly pain but it's really odd. Earned myself an autism assessment.
Please read.
Very educational and contains the phrase 'vagina-compatible bullets' which I will still be giggling at in a month.
It's the Fesshole/Vagina Museum crossover event you've all been waiting for. Tons of you tagged us into this across all of our socials, asking for a fact-check. The consensus of the reply guys is that it Didn't Happen. However, this is in fact very possible. Here's why...
That really sucks especially because nibling instead of niece/nephew is SO GOOD
My kid will have 16 actual Aunties and Uncles by blood/family ties and marriage/cohabitation, plus Great Aunts and Uncles.
Plus our friends. Do NB friends pick which they prefer? Is there a gender neutral alt?
He'll also have 6 grandparents- what else is he supposed to call my brothers' parents?
