To be fair on this one, I don't recall seeing anyone slow down when a speed camera is present [I don't drive]. I do think speed bumps are more effective, as you don't have a choice BUT to slow down (when they're installed correctly).

My first memories of travelling "to the big city" (from Mississauga) with my folks were from going here. A friend of mine still lives in the area. It's a fantastic area (and one of many) that makes Toronto, Toronto.

As a non-serious sprots fan, I've never thought about nationality when it comes to sports because it doesn't make sense (except for maybe @ the National or Olympic level). Professional atheletes are employees. They work for companies. "Home cities" see the effects ($) of wins but that's about it.

New incredible detail here: ICE says a match in its facial recognition app Mobile Fortify is a "definitive" determination of a person's status, and that this overrides birth certificates. This is an app ICE is using in the field to scan people

Thompson said in a statement “Mobile Fortify is a dangerous tool in the hands of ICE, and it puts American citizens at risk of detention and even deportation.” He also said “ICE officials have told us that an apparent biometric match by Mobile Fortify is a ‘definitive’ determination of a person’s status and that an ICE officer may ignore evidence of American citizenship—including a birth certificate—if the app says the person is an alien.
