Happy International Artists Day!
I am proud to be an artist and a supporter and champion of others too. I hope you'll join me in celebrating these talented makers & many more today - honouring the passion & creativity artists bring to our world, & the invaluable contributions they make to society 🥂
A handful of my work is on show @bobcatgallery.bsky.social at the moment - my abstract series exploring emotion & colour... The second piece shown here is one of my favourite pieces of my own work.

All available - let me know if you'd like to hear more of the stories connected to these pieces ✨

How do you say I’m not in the mood for this bullshit today, but like professionally?

I hope this email finds you staving off the soul crushing effects of late stage capitalism to the best of your abilities
Sorry, I don't know your business etc., but if your product hasn't changed, Royal Mail & USPS should still be able to ship as normal if works are original or limited edition and your customs paperwork is completed correctly. All the best.
I have recently sent via Royal Mail/ USPS and had no issues & no customs duty charged; as long as all the forms are completed correctly, original/limited edition works up to $2500 are still duty free under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule. Most issues are for items where they are imported for re-sale.
I recommend using a trusted shipper like TransArtBox or Transglobal Express who can offer step by step guidance on completing the customs forms too, then you won't get any surprises 👍
Hi - as of August, original artworks & limited edition works are still duty free from the UK under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule up to a value of $2500. Above this value, if any duty is to be paid, your buyer / recipient would pay this (good to specify this in your website T&Cs as well).
So we drink prosecco with our left hand, bowl and eat peanuts with the other, and blame someone else when it all goes wrong...? 😸

I had a strange encounter with a visitor to the gallery yesterday, so it's heartening to receive good feedback from my customers - it reminds me why I do what I do.

"I always love coming to visit and you are always so knowledgeable about the artists and their work, I love hearing their stories."
