A haven’t taken a “backpack” selfie in a while. Glad I looked presentable for what I thought was a community focused event. Turns out it was geared towards donors and oh did I stick out think a sore thumb.

My stepson and I both played Hollow Knight, and have been enjoying Silksong. For my birthday yesterday, he designed and assembled a diorama of a scene from the game. 🥹

This is a great reminder! I will say some pantries have restrictions on number of visits and even residency requirements. If your community has a community fridge those are great no barrier options. 🫶🏼
With SNAP and WIC on the cusp of being cut off due to the government shutdown, now is as good a time as any to look up a prominent food bank in your city and set up a one-time or recurring donation if you’re able. Over 40MM of our neighbors may be cut off from food assistance within weeks.

A beautiful day for a run. A breezy start which was perfect to get going. I finished just 38 seconds over my 2023 half marathon time before my calf injury. Happy with the finish!
