Just spent 15 minutes trying to join a Teams meeting. Multiple rounds of sign-ins, 2FA, accept updated terms, "setting things up for you", getting signed out, signing back inn, more 2FA, "oops we couldn't switch to that or" aaaaand... no luck. Yay. I guess I'm done for the day!

Ooooof, Norwegian November and/or seasonal affective disorder hitting me like a truck this week. Life is good, thankfully, but all I want to do is curl up under a warm blanket and sleeeeep. My brain is slow and fuzzy. Struggling to concentrate. Why can't we just hibernate like smart mammals? 😴

I spent a few hours playing around in the new Affinity Studio tonight, and it felt so good being creative just because, without any end goals 🤩🎨 For 10+ years I've limited myself to "professional" and "useful for others". I want web and graphic design to become a joyful, fun hobby again 😊

Microsoft notes that you can combine its new Al function with other Excel functions, including IF, SWITCH, LAMBDA, or WRAPROWS. The company adds that information sent through Excel's COPILOT function is "never" used for AI training, as "the input remains confidential and is used solely to generate your requested output." The COPILOT function comes with a couple of limitations, as it can't access information outside your spreadsheet, and you can only use it to calculate 100 functions every 10 minutes. Microsoft also warns against using the AI function for numerical calculations or in “high-stakes scenarios” with legal, regulatory, and compliance implications, as COPILOT "can give incorrect responses." I'm a human who lives, not a machine to be tuned.

For a while, I want to just exist comfortably, do meaningful things, rest, enjoy life with loved ones, be creative for the fun of it.

My daughter was annoyed that i generated a picture for my talk yesterday. Normally avoid AI generated images but it was a talk about vibe coding @aifortherestofus.live.

So she drew me an alternative picture. This is a software developer that has replaced their keyboard with a tab button.

She added, "To watch the legacies of real people be condensed down to 'this vaguely looks and sounds like them so that's enough, just so other people can churn out horrible TikTok slop pup-peteering them is maddening.
