As a Sociologist who has studied families and schools for nearly two decades, there are many things I want to say (or yell) about the new EO on Education. My workplace just basically banned departments from making public statements, UNLESS they follow a highly articulated process. I have a lot of thoughts***, including that the policy prescribes an unusual amount of collective action for a place with no shared governance.
