Heading home to PV after a lovely time in New Orleans. Wonderful meals at Amelie, Peche, Cochon, Herbsaint, Mosquito Supper Club, Paladar 511, Gianna, and August. The less wonderful shall remain nameless. Scott Roos joined me at August for my birthday dinner, which was the highlight of the trip.

Huzzah! Reading! I've just seen this come up dozens of times in the last few months, where people talk about all the books they've "read", when they haven't. It's clearly frustrating me. I really enjoy radio plays from Big Finish, but prefer to actually read books rather than be read to.

Oh - no benefit implied! Just that this probably wouldn't work with something that actually made a significant profit. This was low hanging fruit they didn't really care about, so started their way on the slip-n-slide.
