Israel is still throttling the aid supply to Gaza. And Britain is still supplying Israel with arms and maintaining normal diplomatic relations. The genocide continues, as does British complicity. 26 months and counting.

Submissions Call: Thin Skin
Submissions deadline: open Thin Skin publishes the work of writers 50 and over who came late to writing. It was founded in 2024 to promote the work of older writers. We are an online international magazine, published quarterly, accepting short stories and flash fiction. We accept submissions all year round. As older writers and editors, we feel the literary world is still skewed towards younger writers.

Whenever I see the 'Ireland is Full' mob in the news, I often think of this map. I think I took the photo at the Dunbrody Famine Ship Museum, years ago. There was a time when it was *our* people leaving their country in their masses, either fleeing a crisis or in search of a better life.

If I were about to go to war, I'd not fire all the experienced people at the top of various parts of the armed forces. Like, my military expertise is limited to teaching the Roman army but that seems not the thing to do.

Over the past five years, we've seen a steady increase in our sales of books in Irish, especially kids books. In January there was significant surge and the last two weeks have been astonishing with so many customers saying they want to revive their cúpla focail. These are the stongest sellers⬇️
