Anyone know what happened to the 7-11 by the Waverly farmers market? I walked by there, and it’s boarded up.

I know the one in Remington is closed and they’re redeveloping the site — what’s the scoop with the one in Waverly?

My latest in @baltimorebrew.bsky.social: Consumer advocates say that earned wage access apps are a form of digital-age payday lending that trap vulnerable users in a cycle of debt. So why did Maryland lawmakers just make it easier for these apps to operate here?

Senator Kelly is correct.

Plus a Public Service Announcement:

KEY section of Department of Defense's Law of War Manual is 18.3.2.1.

The VERY rule on the "requirement" to refuse illegal orders gives as its paradigmatic example of what is "clearly illegal:
"orders to fire upon the shipwrecked."
