I'm glad I got to wrap the season with Resleriana. Played a few hours before swapping up to an end game save to discuss the bigger picture of the alchemy system and how engaging it is being incentivized once again.
Feels like a lot of steps back in the right direction!

Having worked on MMOs for much of my career — all of which by nature have heavily online and engaged fanbases — one of the biggest problems your design and community teams have to deal with is charismatic idiots.
One of the producers on Guilty Gear Strive said it was basically impossible to source player feedback on balance changes online because nobody had original opinions and would just parrot what the most popular content creators said and so they had to rely on data and I think about that every day.

This was a really solid experience. Combat is a fascinating puzzle and the writing is reasonably strong with the exception of a brutality of comma-spliced sentences. Dig the art style a lot and the 1999 setting was super nostalgic for me.
