After like…6 or 8 years of not having these, I felt like giving them a try again. They’re ok, but I feel like the flavor has gone from vanilla cake to just really sweet. Maybe 3 Covid infections has just made them taste different.

One of the depressing landmarks of adulthood is when you realize that your childhood neighborhood no longer has Christmas lights on the trees. All of the neighborhood adults that you grew up around are too old, or no longer with the world, and so the trees just sit dark.

Having got a nasty cold the same time as dayling savings was a bitch. Began going to bed early to beat the cold, and now my internal clock is just messed up. I feel tired and lethargic all day long.

This cold has been an absolute menace. It reminds me of the nightmare cold I got about 15 years ago where the coughing left me with borderline insomnia for a week. I don’t know if it’s a specific strain my body hates, but it’s so much more aggressive than the typical sniffles kind of cold.
