I know you wanna put a dash in "Co-op" because it helps people pronounce it more like "coöp" without keyboard fanciness: but as it is from "cooperative", that is an extraneous hyphen.

The chickens are united to meet their common economic, social, and cultural needs aspirations. Don't overthink it.

While just shy of 7 years old, "Godzilla Carols" are kinda timeless.

(scribd did some gross things with it over the years [ ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ : *I* did not tag it "Christian Music" but it doesn't let me fix its garbage "AI" errors], but one must kinda... deal.)

Every Spirit Halloween store listing begins with what it formerly was and each time I think about that I am tickled anew.

Pal @terry-border.bsky.social had recommended to me "Portrait Artist of the Year" (which he may have recommended in our unreleased podcast about competitive arts programs but having not listened again to that recording I forgot) and it is delightful.

BBCAmerica playing "The Running Man" feels gently pointed in terms of scheduling programming as a kind of "That's you guys" messaging.

But also I'm not mad about it.

Kuina & Chishiya :

Alice in Borderland :
Hamlet.

(Even as AiB seems to be leaning the same direction as Squid Games in terms of future plans, I wouldn't be mad about a Stoppardesque side-universe for compelling characters.)

"Bon Appétit, Your Majesty" was charming and definitely the best time-traveling Korean cooking show I have ever watched.

(The final episode was gently heartbreaking and I feel like they did moderately well in addressing the ever thorny nuts and bolts of time travel.)

I appreciate that on one hand maybe it means my projected vibe is something along the lines of "likely to be competent and helpful" but also am super amused by the fact that (while dressed up nice!) it was still assumed by two different ladies that I worked at this Korean grocery store.

Though I imagine it would make him feel even more intentional in his orthographic, syntactic, and stylistic choices, I bet e.e.cummings in contemporary times would be in a constant state of agitation with autocorrect constantly nudging his name to 'eel'.

(…I watch/listen to a lot of Korean programming w/ subs AND, whenever possible, dubs.)

I wonder what it is that makes it barely notable that Jake the Dog and Bender the Robot have the same voice BUT the same voice coming out of 2 different non-animated humans leads to so intense a record scratch.

Though the editors here will admit to having a jinn-like inclination toward wanting to find a lil' contrapasso in every resolution, e.e.cummings's end was not actually due to ᴄᴀᴘɪᴛᴀʟ ᴘᴜɴɪsʜᴍᴇɴᴛ.

The "where is the Denzel in American public life", moment in the episode of Friendly Fire on "The Siege" is something I think about a lot.

Library Overheards:
"What's a pope?"
Delighfully, demogrphically none of the kids in the group were likely exposed to this in their homes, but apparanly the passage they are reading aloud would get to an explanation.

I am curious if we will easily detect what season it is when the there is a switchemup in reporting and suddenly all the discourse is about 'Larrymandering'.
(Or Terrymandering?)

As someone who thinks about demonyms a fair bit, whenever I see "USians" I wince a little.

But I just realized that maybe it could've been "United Statesmen" if the population at large was just capable of being a little more diplomatic.

Someone (not me) farted hilariously audibly in the library and looking over in that direction and seeing a sea of impassivity--no signs of ownership nor faces of horror--it basically has thrown open the gates on what could be a hilarious but low stakes version of Clue for kids and the kids at heart.
