There is much less fuss around this news than around any RFK related one (and it makes sense, in a way). Still, I find it very frightening that Italy has appointed two renowned no-vax supporters in its vaccine experts committee, an organism which collaborates with the WHO. 🧪🧵

One thing we don’t talk about enough is how collaboration in academia is highly affected by personal priorities: maybe you’re making time to finish up something so your colleagues can take over and do their part, but when they do they are actually busy with something else #AcademicSky
