Oh yes, forgot to post their shinies
Cublade, though neither of them are exactly huggable
The concept of the line is based on the preserved skin we have of the Ground sloth Mylodon that showed it had Osteoderms under its fur that acted like armor
*Which is the clade that includes sloths and Anteaters
Once it levels up to Level 40, Slothield evolves into Pilodin, which is a combination of "Pilosa," which is and "Paladin."

Pilodin is based on Eremotherium, the largest of the ground sloths, and would have been Florida's largest land animal if still alive today.
Next is the final member of the Trio, Slothield.

Slothield is a combination of "Sloth" and "Shield."

Slothield is based on ground sloths, specifically Paramylodon.
However, it is worth noting that Smilodon gracilis wouldn't have competed with Titanis much if at all due to major size difference. However, Xenosmilus would have more likely to clash with Titanis on occasion(VERY rarely, tho)
Cublade and Beaxe are counterpart fossils that you will have a chance to choose mid game, and in lore, they have a rivalry. This is mostly based on the classic Rivalry Terror Birds, and Sabertooths have been depicted in paleo media for years.
Here are their shinies, inspred by Black Legged Seriemas.
The line's theme is based on the theory that suggested terror birds like Titanis killed prey by swinging their hooked bills like a hatchet or an axe and driving the tip onto prey
The line's colors are based on the Red-legged Seriema.
Once it reaches level 30 during the daytime, Beaxe Evolves into Titanaxe, which is a is a combination of "Titanis" and "Axe."

Titanaxe is ofc based on Titanis, a large phorusrhachid terror bird that lived in United States during the Pliocene and earliest Pleistocene.

Next is Beaxe, and it's name is a combination of "Beak" and "Axe."

Beaxe is based on bathornis,  an extinct seriema/ terror bird relative that lived in North America 37–20 million years ago.
Once it reaches level 30 at Night, it becomes Pumachete, Which is a combination of "Puma" and "Machete."

Pumachete is based on Xenosmilus, a large species of Scimitar-Toothed cat found throughout the southern US and was a contemporary of Titanis alongside Smilodon gracilis.
Starting with Cublade, It's name is a combination of "Cub" and "Blade."

Cublade is based on Smilodon gracilis, the smallest of the Smilodon genus, and a proposed ancestor of S. fatalis and S. populator.
Y'know what, imma go back to posting whenever lol. Meet the Fossil Pokémon trio of Oridel: Cublade, Beaxe, and Slothield. Hope you like them

Haven't given much thought, but I'd imagine so
Tellsetus is many times larger. Tellsetus is 43'07" long and just as tall
