My first advice to junior contributors is to STOP using vibe coding for PRs. OSS is always about people more than about code. We don't need more code generated by LLM, we need more people who care.

Why is there such a wide gap between PTO with so many companies? You either get 20 days for the year or "unlimited". I feel like there's a happy medium of 25-30 days in there. With a sabbatical program for folks who've been with your company 5+ years.

From the supernatural to the slightly-too-realistic, it's been a banner year for scary movies, many of which are available to stream from home this Halloween.

Storytime! 🥳 So, for the past week or so, my team was on a pretty tight deadline to deliver a new project. Then, in the midst of this crunch, aws us-east-1 went down and had a pretty massive impact on our ability to do our jobs (as it did for many others) 🧵

There's still a huge audience for Tron films. No one wants to see Jared Leto in them though. Easy fix 🤷🏾‍♂️
