Like when Chani leaves scorned on her 🧹 worm at the end of Part 2 I think they added that just to show Paul is a d*ck🦆. It works—but he comes off as a lousy partner not as worst-than-Hitler. Sure he’s Machiavellian or is he just pragmatic?

Ok I read Dune when I was like 12 and again at 32 and digested surprisingly little of it. I understood intellectually it’s supposed to be a warning but I never bought Paul as an antihero. Most of his villainy happens offstage in between books.
