except for the fact that Etsy isn't a 'building' it's a massive online platform that probably has millions of 'departments' and i highly doubt they know what all of the content is
that's why what we need to do is report the junk, to help Etsy get rid of it

so many people are so worked up and i totally get it... for the most part. you notice how some people get fired up by conflict and drama and stress?
i am not one of those people... sometimes all i can do is focus on my own life

It's OK to boycott Etsy, but just keep in mind: Etsy is a low-cost option for many of us to sell our stuff and it provides high discoverability over a standalone shop.

I'd encourage you all to report the shitty Aligator Alcatraz merch, and still support us leftist creators.

Alternatively, it's kind of fun to go there and report all that merch. Just flag every one of them for violating Etsy policies because it promotes hate and/or violence. And then you can also leave a comment about not buying anything until those are removed. Also, they do have anti-AlgtrAlctrz merch.

i'm fairly confident that if everyone who complained about this shop, reported it instead of prattled on about boycotting Etsy... the shop would probably be removed inside of a week.

that's a guess on my part. reporting seems way more effective
also not punishing all of us because Etsy slipped up
