I suppose what I’m really saying is that the better metric would be the difference between revenue and payroll, instead of payroll as percent of revenue

So… both the Dodgers and Brewers have ~$200M for front office, coaches, scouts, minor leagues, marketing, operations, and profit. Everything else goes to major league payroll. Am I understanding that correctly?
