This is how concrete paving the way is. There was a time, I actually had to take the train to get to the closest ugly and overpriced kpop store to buy an album that wouldn’t even count for the charts. It is the BTS demand that changed all that.
Having witnessed BTS’ rise is insane because whenever I go to the store/library and come across entire kpop aisles, I remember when we had to get together with ARMYs to make Twitter campaigns or harass retailers to get them to import BTS’ latest albums. Now everyone has distribution contracts.

It’s so real how the older you get as an ARMY, the shorter your birthday posts become. I used to write full essays : paragraphs, metaphors, life lessons... and now it’s just “happy Jin day.”
