The BBC is the biggest thump of soft power the UK has and its reach and influence to the benefit of the country is extraordinary. Destroy it, hugely damage the UK. The same people who helped weaken us over Brexit are seeking to do it again.
Interesting to see so many great British patriots right now begging an American president to bankrupt one of Britain’s last remaining truly national institutions.

Terrible scenes in Monmouth. Homes and businesses underwater, roads cut off and serious flood damage, after the River Monnow burst its banks.

In the early hours of this morning, following 119.6mm of rainfall in 12hrs, the River Monnow burst its banks and flooded Monmouth. The usual river level is just under 2m, this morning it was 6.63m- even higher than the record-breaking level during the floods in 2020 (6.57m). Absolutely devastating.

Wales and Liechtenstein are about to play each other in men's football. Curiously, the Liechtenstein national anthem uses the tune of God Save the King.

I fear some Wales fans will think that God Save the King is being played as their national anthem instead of Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau.

Bias is often in the eye of the beholder

So let’s stick to measurable facts

During 10 yrs of debate about Brexit, BBC QuestionTime had Britain’s Members of the European Parliament on the show 50 times

Every single one was from the pro Brexit minority

47 were from UKIP/BP

23 times Farage

Governing is hard, & govts today face huge challenges in a world of 24-hour media, disinformation & polarisation.

But that makes the quality of leadership even more vital.

At some point we have to ask if we're just unlucky or if something's gone wrong with the pipeline.

Otherwise, this is up next

Three times yesterday the wind blew over the bins. It separated the three sections of the recycling bin and blew the contents around the garden, three times.
