I never get tired of watching this movie. To me, it's not just a Western. It's an epic journey. The DVD I own of it is a high quality director's edition; hard as it is to believe, I purchased it at Dollar General for $5.00!
In 1947, Hanz Keilson wrote a story titled Comedy in a Minor Key. It's a drama about a husband and wife who hide a person from the Nazis.

In this short talk, I offer my commentary on Comedy in a Minor Key.

I want a shirt that reads this.

We've made a lot of mistakes in this world, but libraries remain one of the few things we've gotten right. I can't tell you how many great books, movies, and albums I've discovered at the library.

And libraries also have guest speakers and classes for the public.
My books have outgrown the nightstand. My books are lining the walls around the bedroom.
I was prone to skipping classes in high school. We had a cool dean at my school who took no offence at it but became curious where I ventured off to. One day, on a hunch, he stopped by the local library and found me reading a collection of short stories.
Victorian authors would hate Bukowski. Some of his chapters are as long their paragraphs.
When it comes to what I like to read, I'm all over the place. Currently, I'm reading The Queen of Crows by Myke Cole.

It's published by TOR. Years ago, I went back to Nashville to watch the screening of a friend's movie and met a writer who was published by TOR.

If you're a fan of Boogie Nights, you might like HBO's series The Deuce. It's the story of the 1970s adult movie industry. To create this show, they consulted with historians. I seldom watch a series to completion, but I found it so fascinating I purchased it on DVD.

My story, "The Cushion Saw the Window," is the story of a successful webcam model who becomes afraid of her online fame, tries to hide from it, and finds herself missing it.

You can read and download the story from the Internet Archive via the link on my profile.
Like a lot of creatives, I began licensing my stories using Creative Commons licensing because it seemed cool. As I get older, I see it more as a way of preserving my stories in ways I can't even imagine.

I wish more creatives would explore using Creative Commons.
My story, "Hello, Brother," is about two brothers who return home from war and struggle with the memories of what they survived.

I still purchase music on compact disc and recently learned about what I call "miniature box sets." These are box sets containing several albums in paper sleeves. They're not too expensive and make great collectables. #music

I moved to Nashville in the early 2000s to write screenplays. My time their inspired me to write a novel that takes place in the city.
I think it’s pretty cool to live in a city so many people want to visit, and that so many people want to move to. She’s a beaut tonight
Chasing Horses is a story about an alcoholic living alone in a farmhouse and being tormented by angry horses.

Had it not been for your post, I'd not know this interview existed. Thanks!

I used OO for years then switched to LO. I use both now depending on the OS. Both are basically the same with some functionality differences. Macros are easy to make on both, and the extensions are great.
I like both LibreOffice and OpenOffice. When it comes to writing my stories, I type on a computer built in 2006 and use OpenOffice along with Libre Baskerville font at 1.5 spacing. I find the font and spacing easy on the eyes.
I read Sleepers in the 1990s. It was sold at a grocery store I was pushing a broom in. To me, the book is better than the film adaption, but either way it's a story you don't forget. Of all the organized crime movies I've seen, Billy Crudup's and Ronald Eldard's characters seem the most terrifying.
I find it interesting the book didn't do well until World War II when soldiers needing something to read discovered it. I also find it interesting The Beautiful and Damned tends to get overlooked. To me, it's better than Gatsby.
I use one of these blue insulators as a weight to hold my home built AM loop antenna in place. When you pick one up, you notice a ring of spikes on its bottom. I've been told those were used to help drip condensation.
