So just watched (again) A League of Their Own and I never realized it but the reason the Peaches lost the World Series was because Jimmy Dugan must have been drunk and batted Dottie Hinson 5th. She should’ve batted 3rd or 4th. Kit would’ve imploded in that inning. Jimmy Dugan cost them the series.

I wish people would stop looking at contempt proceedings (or any court action) as useless if they don’t result in prison time. The truth and the process are just as important. More so, IMHO.
