You know a dub album is gonna be good if somebody meets somebody somewhere. Tell tale sign of a classic dub record.

Forgot to mention it at the time, but "When It's Sleepy Time Down South" is a banger.

It's cool that if Martin Rev had gone with his real name as his stage name it would've been just as good, maybe better. Everybody likes reverby shit.

I was really hoping 1 person would get this.

The members of Goblin. This would be a much better country if we celebrated Goblin Day every October rather than Columbus Day.

Kinda felt like putting on something that I know I haven't listened to in at least 10 years. Time machine music.

Played through no problem, didn't hear a thing. This actually sounds way better than I was expecting it to. 👍

All cleaned up and good to go. Sounds good so far, the bump is coming up in a minute.

Thanks. It only holds 1000 records, which is the perfect number to have available at any given time i reckon. In case of emergency maybe 1100, tops.

It's always interesting inspecting Jamaican pressings. Most of them sound fine even if they have bumps or pits or glue residue or whatever on them. It's all part of the charm. Looking forward to finding out how this bump will sound tomorrow morning.

Nice to be back home with my babies. I missed them so.

Love this. Is this on an LP or is it just a single? (I don't really collect singles)

Visiting the in-laws this weekend. Had no luck at the record stores but found a local Discogs seller who had this gem so I just went and picked it up. My first DB record.

Having tuned into another great @louiseann.bsky.social show on the World Wide Web, it’s time to jump back on my latest bandwagon #NowPlaying
The album is Cymande by Cymande. Couldn’t even be bothered to seek out an original and a bright orange disc is spinning on the turntable

Conscious I don’t post here very often… going to try and remedy that by upping the record-nerd content…

This was released a couple of weeks ago on Soundway (who were doing a really neat/good value ‘bundle’ offer on their Bandcamp page)

It is absolutely sublime
