I have a rule in the house. If my wife or kids leave anything lying around for a few days, I bin it. Of course it's only me who knows about the rule. Always get asked where something is. 'I don't know' is always my answer

Was going to do Halloween nails today but I've a funeral on Friday & even I know turning up with ghosts & skeletons on my nails would be extreme poor taste. Natural nails it is.

My Big Ex has just called! As suspected he had another bout of cancer but he's out of the woods and on the mend. Hurrah! He's still in Scotland tho. I'm so glad he's still alive!

Today next door's builders have parked in front of my house & every time they cut across my drive to go between the house & the van my motion sensors send me an alert. This is going to get real old real quick. (I don't mind them doing it, I just mind my phone going off every 5 minutes)

Had the invoice from electrician number 2 who actually did the job - with that plus electrician number 1 and the cost of the bulbs it's cost me just over £200 to get 13 kitchen bulbs changed

Today's plan was always to avoid the storm with earphones & Netflix. I'm enjoying Wayward immensely but also I'm soooo bored. Better bored than nervous I guess but I don't do bored easily.

Have planted some starter shrubs today in the vain hope that the wet autumn weather will give them a chance to get decently established before summer next year. I'm determined to get a pretty garden. Once the tree surgeons have taken away the out of control trees I'll be planting some more.
