I hear you. I've never seen our rivers so low. Many ponds around here are dust bowls. So many dry wells, I'm lucky my spring has held out. It's beyond belief, and so weird after all the flooding the last two years. The poor fish!

It's been pouring here. One day last week we got over an inch. It's like feast or famine, but we need the moisture so badly. I'm very worried about the forests, a lot of these trees are not gonna make it to next year. This late rain may not be enough but it helps the fire hazard at least.

Thank you, yes! I have 48 on the ol' Fahrenheit scale, and it's raining. I have the woodstove burning and the dog and cat are curled up in front of it.
