I feel like if aliens visited earth and wanted to take the best bang-for-your-buck video game console back with them that has the most amount of quality games across multiple genres, it would be insane to give them anything other than a PS2. Damn we really were eating good.

So far (with the limited experience I've had with it on my laptop) I think Linux Mint is pretty cool! It feels snappier, I like the customizability, and I love not having ads and notifications thrown at me every few minutes. And it's just nice to have a windows alternative for basic tasks.

I used to say that I hoped Bluesky would become the new Twitter, but I think I much prefer where we are now. I don't want another Twitter. I like that Bluesky is a lot more friendly and fun to navigate, and stresses me out significantly less than any other social media platform.

Maybe we should all ditch social media and just start making personal websites again. No ads. No algorithm. We post what we want, and we only visit the sites we want to see content from.
Does all of our content have to come from the same three or four sites? What's so wrong with spreading it out?
