It has finally stopped raining in A Coruña. Brutal November. Vitamin levels dreadfully low. Time for some sun 🍻 #Galicia

Very interesting as always. Another angle that I always find fascinating (although based on soft data and thus harder to illustrate) is how quickly Spain has gone from ultra-Catholic dictatorship to possibly the best country in the world for the LGBTQ community. Truly astonishing

FC Barcelona return to Camp Nou today with less than 50% capacity. You can still buy tickets (!) because the cheapest ones cost €199(!)

Refreshing to see fans saying piss off to price gouging.

In Spain, Ireland nearly always gets bunged in with Britain when people here talk about that part of the world. With the absence of a catch-all term, ‘Britanicos’ gets used followed by a ‘you know what I mean, the UK and Ireland.’

But for @el_pais, Ireland isn’t ‘British.’

Instead of connecting Extremadura with the rest of the country or improving connections between Barcelona/Bilbao, Seville/Valencia, Spain is instead putting its efforts into reducing travel time between Madrid/Barcelona.

Spain needs to boost its 2nd tier cities, not MAD BCN.

Dominik Szoboszlai is a marvellous player.

Kind of a retro international football performance here v Ireland where the best player on the pitch by a mile dictates absolutely everything.

In the age of systems, it’s very rare to see one player so absurdly dominant. #Hungary
