FC Barcelona return to Camp Nou today with less than 50% capacity. You can still buy tickets (!) because the cheapest ones cost €199(!)

Refreshing to see fans saying piss off to price gouging.

In Spain, Ireland nearly always gets bunged in with Britain when people here talk about that part of the world. With the absence of a catch-all term, ‘Britanicos’ gets used followed by a ‘you know what I mean, the UK and Ireland.’

But for @el_pais, Ireland isn’t ‘British.’

Instead of connecting Extremadura with the rest of the country or improving connections between Barcelona/Bilbao, Seville/Valencia, Spain is instead putting its efforts into reducing travel time between Madrid/Barcelona.

Spain needs to boost its 2nd tier cities, not MAD BCN.

"Messi returned home on Sunday night. The faces of the employees who let him into (Camp Nou) must have been priceless. The most fascinating thing is that Messi decided to return just when Joan Laporta, the president who kicked him out of the club, was away in Vigo."

“The former French president Nicolas Sarkozy has been released from prison after a judge ruled he could serve the rest of his five-year sentence at home.”

Nicolas Sarkozy released just 20 days into five-year prison sentence

Reminds me of the Silvio line from The Sopranos.
