Went to Sabaton's first ever NZ gig and at one point the guitarist was telling the crowd about how much they had wanted to come and how great it was to finally be here, and someone started Tutira Mai and the whole metalhead crowd sang to the visiting band.
I loved it so much.

This is what happens when you request books from the library! Place a hold or an alert on Libby! Fill out the request firm on the library website! Ask at the front desk! You and your neighborhood get cool books and authors get paid. Libraries are so dang cool.

ACTUALLY, I have a theory that most books enter a cultural "uncanny valley" 20-25 years after release, where the culture has shifted just enough they're not contemporary anymore, so new readers can't directly relate, and they stay in the valley for about 50 years until they're clearly historical
