It is never not *super telling* that any assertion of trans rights results in TERFs showing up to freak out about “men in women’s spaces” because they singularly focus on trans as a feminine-oriented identity & fail to acknowledge transmasc existence. Anecdotal, but I personally know 2x the latter…

I attended a concert with the Pittsburgh orchestra featuring Ben Folds earlier this year and he spoke about his decision to resign from his position as artistic advisor for the National Symphony Orchestra.
I'll be honest: I do not care if these artists ever get paid. You perform at the Trumpified Kennedy Center, you should expect to get the full Trump treatment (which often means that you're getting screwed over).

Several years ago the chief of police at my job bought himself a Segway. The first time I saw him creeping along on the thing I had a good laugh because it really was a ridiculous sight.
Younger people who didn't witness it cannot fathom the hype around the Segway. Every news station agreed it would revolutionize the entire social fabric of the Earth. That all future humans would divide history between the savage days of the past, and the soon to be new era of zoom zoom scoot scoot.

Since our house doesn’t host the holiday dinner, we don’t get leftovers. I decided I wasn’t leaving the house today, so dinner presented a challenge. Thanks go out to past me for saving the day by throwing leftover chili in the freezer a month ago & stockpiling boxes of cornbread mix.
