(Different library, but we too had and loved the pneumatic tubes). As a page if we were working the sub-basement we would occasionally send a little, uh, hitchhiker on the return ride back to the upstairs desk.

Something about a 200 year old razor nudges a morning routine into the realm of reverie. Respect to the makers of Sheffield.

Without Cairns I'm not entirely sure I would be alive today. Now they are helping me once again. They are a lesson and a lifeline. Take comfort, keep Cairn and carry on I guess.

If you do obedience you might chuckle at Stella completing her Broad Jump with an anti-clockwise twirl before fronting. She did it this way 100% of the time her entire life. Left-pawed, I guess. One judge said, "You could train that out, but why? (Bonus Airedale)

I recently submitted a Letter to the Editor to my city’s newspaper, making the case for supporting active infrastructure within their 300-word limit.

My hope was simple. If just one person sees this topic in a new way, it’s worth it. And I’d encourage other advocates to do the same where they live.
