Next time, READ THE CONTRACT BEFORE YOU SIGN IT or take any action pursuant to it! Now, go back and read the contract and if he's in breach, sue his disgusting ass off. I suspect you won't have any trouble at all finding a lawyer to take that case on a contingent basis.

Augusta, Maine, on the Memorial Bridge over the Kennebec, with hundreds of other patriotic Mainers. Holding my obviously professionally-produced sign on perfect cardboard but sadly without the beautiful wood. (I repurposed the bottom of a case of Coke!) The reverse says "We [heart] America."
