Just imagine having to find this every month.

#FightForYourNHS
My health insurance premiums will more than double in January. I pay a little less than $500/month for my current silver plan.

I just reapplied and my new premium will be $1062/month.

And don’t forget: I still have a co-pay for every visit and pay for prescriptions.

Okay, here we go.

Health & care staff are no longer allowed a Covid booster, but they're still expected to look after COVID+ patients.

NHS/govt is reneging on its duty of care. Staff will become unwell, and patients too will suffer.

You know what to do

“There are some very harsh and unnecessary things, which are bitterly disappointing coming from a Labour Government... They are very different to the sorts of things the party supported when we were in opposition. We cannot defeat Reform by trying to outdo them.”

Listening to #bbcaq and wondering whether the ‘electric cars are more unreliable’ claim made and repeated more than once in the programme is really true? 🤔

OK, if anyone else has decided Brad Horrobin is autistic merely as he’s not a stereotypical laddish person, please unfollow me now, because you’re talking bollocks. Lads can be diffident, underconfident, good at maths etc without being labelled for it through mistaken prejudice. Ta.

Reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and plastics is the only way we can save the planet, our only home, and make sure our children and grandchildren have a future.

This is not a partisan issue. Each of us should be doing as much as we can and pressuring our leaders to act on the climate crisis.

Badenoch is incredibly ignorant of history.
The Bible teaches that the poor, the sick, the old, the young and the stranger should be cared for.
The Roman Empire had a pensions system
Monasteries in medieval times offered food and medicine to travellers & those in need
Just a few of many examples

in 1st century Judea, the corners of every field had to be left for the poor to pick crops for themselves, every seventh year *all* of the crops from fields and vineyards and orchards belonged to the poor, and all debts of all types were cancelled every 50th year.

The student house down the street has a giant inflatable Santa in its front garden. I was alerted to its presence this afternoon when a loud hissing noise drew me to the window. However, they seem unable to keep Santa inflated. He’s lying on his side in the gutter under a street lamp at the moment.
