I have officially kicked off my Christmas season by watching “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” I’m not religious, but Linus is still brilliant. Amazingly enough, this is the show’s 60th anniversary - it first ran on December 9, 1965. And I saw the premiere, too! 😳

Whenever Trump makes these ridiculous claims, I always wonder if he’s intentionally lying, or just panoramically ignorant. I don’t suppose it makes any difference in practice, but you’d hope someone has (evidently unsuccessfully) tried to educate him - which leaves the lying.
In yet another BS post, Trump announces that most stuff we buy is about to be more expensive, just in time for the holidays!

So apparently the DOJ Office of Legal Counsel has internally based their “legal counsel” that blowing up various boats and their occupants is legal on the Law of Armed Conflict. Here is the Army’s training briefing on LOAC:
