An ellipsus made snippet, read as follow;

“Can I trust you will be fine on your own here? Even should they come looking for you?”

There was no response from the Sniper, only his grip tightening against both guns as if strangling them. “I said I'll be fine,” he quietly huffed, pocketing the flare gun and holding his rifle with both hands again, quickly aiming them at the guard towers. “I'll shoot them before they get close.” It won't be easy, he's only one man. But any more and it'll only make it easier for the enemy to pinpoint his location. He'll just have to keep moving.

But Zoticus, still unconvinced, can only put his trust in the man. What little there is he has. Their brush with death might not have appeared to shake him, but it leaves quite an impression. Turning around, he began his steps back to the encampment. But before he was out of earshot, he whispered, “I'm confident, in a pinch, you'll know what to do with the rest of those flares… Tribunus.”

All the Legatus heard before he left the hill behind was a quiet scoff.

so for one of the books I really wanted to share with her I just recorded myself reading the chapters (because I didn't know where to find an official audio edition at the time) and we'd sit and read/listen to it together

Back in like late high school early college years I had a friend who struggled processing reading when just doing it on her own but reading along with a audio version at the same time helped things stick

I can't say how good or not I am at it but doing character voices/acting has always been fun for me and since my dnd groups are on indefinite hiatus I don't get many chances to indulgence as much any more.

Despite the tenna fixation I still haven't had the chance to play deltarune parts 3 and 4 yet because my work schedule is kicking my ass OTL
And I still would kinda like to play with friends around because I like when people can join in to voice dialouge together with me

"You sure it's that obvious to Porter? Get out and woo him!" Karlach not-so-subtly nudges Gale with an elbow that knocks him off his feet.

So I have an entire character lineup for this! (Slightly outdated in some cases) Which is a nice jumping off point for talking about them and which ones I sort of immediately settled on and which ones took some time to arrive at.
