A team player, but maybe not for your team.
This is why Trump did not disassociate himself from avowed Nazis in Charlottesville. The 24 percent of Republicans who say ICE “has not gone far enough” are Trump’s core base.
Far-right broadcaster Jesse Kelly fumes that "the country has been flooded with millions of foreign barbarians" who are being protected by "communist animals": "Mash every single one of them into a fine powder and save the United States of America."

Miller/Noem/Bovino coordinated a false story about a matter under criminal investigation, barred law enforcement from the scene, dishonored a search warrant, detained and intimidated witnesses, seized phones used to film the shooting, and removed agents involved from Minnesota.

No crime?

Or put another way, it’s what our parents and grandparents fought against in World War II.
The Atlantic finally catching up with what some of us have been saying for *years*

They removed witnesses from the jurisdiction in which a criminal investigation is underway.
CBP chief Bovino has confirmed that the officers who executed Alex Pretti in the street yesterday are not only *not on administrative leave,* they have all been reassigned to other jurisdictions and are all on the street today.

This is totally unheard of for any officer-involved shooting

So they’ll have to be extradited to face trial.

I bet Bessent know all the words to “You Shan’t Overcome.”
KARL: He was an ICU use who worked for the VA and there's no evidence he brandished the gun whatsoever

BESSENT: But he brought a gun

KARL: I mean, we do have a Second Amendment

BESSENT: I've been to a protest -- guess what? I didn't bring a gun. I brought a billboard

“Mishandled” is doing a lot of work.
JUST IN: In a new lawsuit, Minnesota officials say DHS mishandled evidence from today's crime scene and made "astonishing" law enforcement decisions. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

There are times prosecution is required to protect the credibility of the criminal justice system. This is that time, and not just of agents who pulled triggers.

The NYT has now changed the headline from “videos appear to contradict” to “videos contradict.”

Now call Bovino, Miller, Vance, Noem, and Trump criminal liars.
January 25, 2026 at 4:24 PM
Witnesses report that ICE and CBP agents seized phones that had filmed Pretti’s muder to destroy evidence. That’s a crime punishable by a sentence up to half the sentence for the murder itself.

Trump promises to “Make America Great Again” but does not say when he thinks America was great before.

We know the answer: When Bill Connor was Birmingham Commissioner of Public Safety.
January 25, 2026 at 3:31 PM
Under Minnesota law, someone who obstructs a criminal investigation may be an “accomplice after the fact.” The penalty is up to half the sentence for the underlying crime.

Pretty tough law.

If you sue ICE, then this is your jury pool.
A coworker took this from her apartment. I haven't seen a crowd this size before. Maybe the first Women's March? But it was much much warmer that day. ICE OUT OF MINNESOTA!
January 24, 2026 at 1:58 PM
People said mean things and hurt their feelings.
"We've seen over a thousand percent increase in assaults on ICE officers, 8,000 verbal assaults on them...."

Maybe he had an ulcer and when he shot an unarmed woman twice in the head from the side at point blank range the ulcer started to bleed.
BREAKING: The ICE agent who fatally shot Renee Good last week in Minneapolis, Jonathan Ross, suffered internal bleeding to the torso following the incident, according to two U.S. officials briefed on his medical condition.

That’s civil and criminal assault. His face is visible.
A woman recording an ICE agent tells him "Shame on you."

The agent responds, "Have you all not learned from the past couple of days?"

"Learned what?" she asks

Then he knocks her phone out of her hand

Will prosecutors be required to provide Maduro’s defense “open file discovery” of all evidence? Will we get to see it too?

Nothing brings families together over Christmas like shared ethnic hatred.
Dean Martin, born Dino Paul Crocetti, son of Italian immigrant Gaetano Crocetti

Frank Sinatra, son of Italian immigrants Antonino Sinatra and Natalina Garavanta

Merry Christmas to everyone except Stephen Miller and his enablers and handlers

My inbox is now filled with emails that have links to the censored 60 Minutes story and social media is thick with links to the story. Bari Weiss’ reputation at the NYT was that she was a lazy and stupid self-promoter. Seems plausible.

I’ve been to some dive bars, but I’d be shocked if anyone, no matter how drunk, said that. And I’d want nothing more to do with them.

I want to thank Olivia Nuzzi and RFK Jr. for making every relationship or situationship I’ve ever been in, including those the remembrance of which still embarrasses me, seem healthy and wholesome.
November 16, 2025 at 8:25 PM
Ir would be only fair for the NYT to say now that their story on Olivia Nuzzi will not be on the news quiz.

Graham’s in the “Hitler sucks” wing now but he’s ready to flip if the “Hitler rocks” wing wins. He keeps a wet finger in the air.

I told a reporter in 2022 or so that what Biden needed to do was take someone whose ass needed kicking and kick it into the next county. The reporter didn’t use the quote.

A new Biden administration autopsy, based on internal assessments from many government insiders, has crystal clear lessons for the future.
