Could they have somehow squeaked by with $5M less that could have increased rank and file compensation? I know it would have been tough, maybe go with some lesser vintages, perhaps survive w/o a vacation home in Davos AND Tuscany (I know, hard to choose), and go easy on the Savile Row tailoring...
