Music, Film, Travel, Motorbikes, Hibernian … and did I mention music?
Curse your Jedi mind tricks… you totally influenced me, didn’t you? @hungryforsound.bsky.social Must admit, I really like the new 2025 mix of this as well. #KingCrimson

What a band, what an album, and what a fucking amazingly hypnotic closer the track 'Endsong' is.

Not played this in a long time, yes I do love some Hip Hop.
Pete Rock & CL Smooth 'Mecca and The Soul Brothers'

They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.) puts a huge smile on my face every time I hear it, such an amazing track. Magnificent!🎧 #nowplaying #vinyl

Hibs best player linked with a move away in the press, wonder who Hibernian are playing next? That old Scottish media favourite, never fails.

Just found out my two fave celebs are holed up living in the Bahamas, the “definitely not creepy” Cliff & “See You Jimmy” Abbot. Cliff’s still touring at 85, that mans running on the preserved energy of decades of being single. Cliffs not ageing anymore, he’s just buffering.

When being progressive meant exactly that. A band grabbing everything in sight, the melodic genius of The Beatles, folk shimmer of Simon & Garfunkel, the arrangements of the Mothers & Zappa, jazz of Coltrane, even full blown classical grandeur.

Backs flared up bad, & my jaw’s locked for the 4th time this year, at this point my skeleton’s basically doing performance art without telling me. Brekky was me posting crisps through the gap in my mouth like I’m trying to feed a fcked parking meter. Apart from that, life’s grand.
Ears are fine 😂

Rosalia Lux sounds like Mahler composing in the same room as Björk, Kate Bush, & Maria Callas. The only modern album that’s blended a genre into popular music the lsat 20 year as successfully for me is Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly, with its fusion of jazz.

This why you should never do an AOTY list before the end of December. This album would 100% be on mine.
I just listened to this for the first time, and all I can say is that I’ll definitely be coming back to it. Say what you will, but this young artist has created a truly beautiful piece of work. This album is going to be a real gateway into classical music for a whole new generation of listeners.💚

One thing I learned growing up listening to bands like Yes, Rush & Vangelis is how to be properly thick skinned. If I had a quid for every time someone took the piss out of me for it, I’d have a personal assistant typing this out for me right now.

I love this time of year when folk post their favourite albums of the past year. And please don't take offence to anything I don't like. I'm Scottish, taking the piss is practically our national cardio.😁
