I love disco inferno by The Trammps. I’m not hearing it at all. There is a section that has a steady, driving 4/4 beat feel created by the sequencer pulse, hardly makes it a contender for Saturday Night Fever 😁

Exactly how I see it too. The older material is always there whenever you want it. I own all the newer Yes, but I’m not a fan just because they use the Yes logo. I’d never knock anyone who enjoys it, though, and if I do, it’s only in good-natured banter… I just sometimes forget that part!😁

I'm all for bands who evolve their sound, Rush are the prime example from Signals onwards to my favourite Power Windows, a lot of the older fans frothed at the mouth when they brought onboard New Wave/Post Punk/Ska sounds. I loved it.

I like that album too, you can still tell there's good songs in there, regardless of the instrumentation.
