It was 22 years ago that I unmasked the highest placed spy for British military intelligence inside the IRA

This week, the British state tried to say it was all over

It’s not. Justice will remain denied until the army is forced to reveal exactly what it did

We also warned you that Privatisation would lead to higher bills and worse service. 45 years later you still haven’t voted in a Government that will reverse privatisation.
The left warned you about Thatcher, Major, Blair, Brown, Cameron, May, Johnson, Truss, Sunak and Starmer.

We are now warning you about Farage. Ready to listen yet?

Very grateful to Amu Gib, one of the hunger strikers who hasn't eaten for 39 days, for sharing this diary entry about their experience.

In it, Amu talks about what it has been like in prison and what motivated them to take this action.

New Home Office impact assessment finds that cutting skilled and social care visas will cost the UK up to £10 billion with a central estimate of -£5.4 billion.

It would be good if this got even a fraction of the coverage devoted to the endless debate about boats, flags and Turkish barber shops

I get the flu jag every year. And every year it works. This year, though, the flu mutated after I was vaccinated. And it got me. It got me bad. It’s an especially bad virus this year. I was floored for three weeks. Here’s my guide to surviving the monster variant

Our Writer at Large was floored by the mutated strain of the flu that is now shutting wards and surging across Scotland.

Tr*mp started his career in the public eye by pretending to fire people from fake jobs. Now he’s worked his way up to being in charge of an administration that has murdered* at least 86 people. What do you think is next?

I don't understand why the British media allows a far right party funded by the super rich and stuffed full of former Tories to continue to present itself as "anti-elite". It's such a blatant and risible lie yet Farage is never called out on it.

FML - this fawning before the over-sensitive king is embarrassing for the world.

Many countries have fought revolutions (and in the UK a civil war) against monarchs & tyrants in order to get away from this ridiculous kind of self-abasement before egos of foolish leaders.

Bloody hell, can't believe there isn't a hoohaa about the price of world cup tickets. They say prices start at $60 but these are few and far between. Most tickets will start at $350 for group games. The cheapest for the final is $1825. May be worse with dynamic pricing.

Today, Nigel Farage postures as a righteous defender of the same democracy he actively undermines.

Democracy should never be for sale. It's time for a cap on political donations.

Rachel Reeves says that even if the SNP wins a majority on its own at Holyrood the UK government will still not permit another vote.
