After submitting a FOIA request UKRI, I obtained success rates by three grant call scheme and I can only say that I am disheartened by the results:

- AHRC Responsive Mode 2025: 2%
- ESRC New Investigator Grant 2025: 1%

This is a really troubling story from an open knowledge, maritime history, and human rights perspective. The 3D scans from the Scottish Maritime Museum, used by the IDF, were shared as CC0 models. When content is shared openly, what if anything, can be done to counter bad faith re-use?
