I think the Pens are going to be trailing for a lot of this season but I really don't mind watching if we're putting the kids out in high-leverage situations. The result of an individual game matters less than making sure guys like Kindel and Brunicke establish themselves in the NHL.

Also I saw Ben Kindel score on a sick shot right off a takeaway on the backcheck and it looked like every highlight tape @jmarshpgh.bsky.social put together for him after the draft.
