i think what elevates bloodborne's lore is the fact that it's less about "what gods are more powerful/morally justified," more "do they even exist." the psychological aspect adds such a neat distinction between the traceable religions and what "really" happened in yharnam

i think the reason i love this theme so much is because it has soooo many distinct "phases" despite being so freakin noisy. like i love the way the blaring BWAMs come in and those angelic voices at the start and the focus on demonic chittering and then the LOUD PART
