This is SO not it. Assimilationists gonna assimilate I guess.
I wrote about why we should not celebrate someone losing their job, especially in today’s America, even when they’ve done terrible racist things.

Losing a job should also be harder and involve workers’ bodies not unilateral management decisions.

One of the things I dislike about the Game Awards (and any competition really that asks is the evaluate art against one another) is that it can have the effect of piously devaluing the other art an award puts you in competition with.

This talks about how this student feels empowered in multiple places outside the actual place the original article was written about. What I get out of the original article was that this student should be able to feel empowered at JAS too. I'm feeling like this response is missing that point.

god knows I love his movies but this is such a low brow unprofessional move by QT.

I feel especially bad for Matthew Liliiard who did nothing to deserve these stray bullets. Owen Wilson will live.

I can't stop thinking about the purported drug smugglers being murdered by the US military. The punishment for drug offenses isn't the death penalty. This is just bloodlust and men in suits playing with lives they don't care about. It's truly grotesque and gravely compromises this country.
