i always feel bad when a retail worker or fast food employee apologises when things are taking too long. u don't have to apologise to me. u take ur time so u don't burn out & overwhelm urself. i will never get angry at that.

1. Learn to smile genuinely
2. Let them speak and feel heard
3. Don’t abruptly change topics, segue gracefully
4. Laugh at yourself when you get awkward or if you misspeak
